The Magic Slushy Cup: Tik Tok Made Me Buy This!

       TikTok is a social media app that allows users to create and share short-form videos, usually set to music. It is currently 5 years old as it launched in September 2016. It is a platform for creative expression and is used by people all over the world to share their talents, interests, and humor. TikTok has become very popular in recent years, particularly among younger generations. 

      Recently there has been a trend going around of the TIK TOK Magic Quick Frozen smoothie cup. This cup claims it can turn pretty much any drink into a slushy. This is honestly the perfect time to review this product as it is almost summer time which is the perfect time for slushies!

       Formally introducing the TIK TOK Magic Quick Frozen smoothie cup, RELPOM® Slushie Maker Cup. 

         I seen this cup awhile ago on tik tok, I thought it was neat but alas I kept scrolling. It wasn’t until I was on Amazon late last night when I decided to use a gift card I had received for Amazon. I happened to scroll and see this cup again. I thought it was a neat concept, however I admit it was my toddlers love of popsicles and slushies that made me decide to buy this. 

      The TIK TOK Magic Quick Frozen smoothie cup comes with a plastic lid, a straw, and a spoon attachment. All are washable, but do not use any type of detergent the manufacturer warns as it may hurt the product. It is food grade silicone, so it is safe to use. 

        We actually received the TIK TOK Magic Quick Frozen smoothie cup this morning. I don’t know how Amazon delivers so quickly but I literally placed the order last night. Thank you Amazon Delivery people! 

                I actually didn’t really have to high of hopes for the TIK TOK Magic Quick Frozen smoothie cup, however now that I have used it I do actually like it. My kids really like it. I kinda wish I would have bought two now. 

         So how it works, first you put the TIK TOK Magic Quick Frozen smoothie cup in the freezer for about 6 hours. After about 6 hours you take it out, put your drink of choice in it and start squeezing the cup. Don’t worry it’s silicone, so it won’t break. Also make sure the lid is on so you don’t accidentally spill it as you are squeezing. After a minute or so of squeezing repeatedly you’ll start to see bits of frozen drink, just keep squeezing until you get the consistency you want and voila! Your own customized Slushy! 

        This was actually fun for me and my kids to do. They were amazed at the fact that it turned into a slushy so quickly. I was just glad I was using something reusable and not wasting plastic. 

  

       Aside from making slushies, TIK TOK Magic Quick Frozen smoothie cup also claims you can make milk shakes and ice cream with this cup, however that will be a review for a different day as we haven’t tried that yet. 

     I definitely think this will be a daily used item in my home especially for my children since we live in Florida. I think it’s a great idea, I really like the concept of this cup.
