The Best Tiny Living Kitchen Appliances

The Tiny Home Movement

The tiny home movement began in the United States in the 1990's and has become increasingly  popular around the world. Many people choose to live in tiny homes as a way to reduce their environmental impact and live a more sustainable lifestyle. This can be a great way to simplify your life and reduce clutter, leading to a greater sense of peace and contentment.

Tiny homes are typically less than 400 square feet in size. They feature innovative space saving solutions, such as built in storage and convertible furniture. The cost of building a tiny home can be significantly lower than that of a traditional home, which makes it an attractive option for those looking to save money.

In todays world many people live tiny. It's difficult to determine exactly how many people live in tiny homes, as there is no official registry or database of tiny home owners. However, it's estimated that there are tens of thousands of people living in tiny homes in the United States alone. The tiny home movement has gained popularity in recent years, and many people are attracted to the idea of living a more minimalist lifestyle in a smaller, more sustainable home.

I myself am included in the tiny home movement! My Husband and I live full time in our RV, which is another great Tiny home option, especially for those of you who want to be more mobile! Believe me when I say tiny living is not for everyone. I know a lot of people who gave it a shot and decided 6 months in that it was not the life they wanted. However, this works so well for us and we are a little over two years in.

Tiny living teaches you to be more practical with your space. When you live in 400 square feet or less you do not have the means to buy everything you might buy in a regular size home. It means you have to plan every square inch of space and what you are going to place in that space to make your tiny home functionable. In other words, You have to be intentional with the space you have and you have to choose items that have multiple purposes so that you aren’t creating clutter. It’s a learned art.

The hardest part about living small is choosing the most important Kitchen Appliances. Luckily I’ve already been there and now after two years of living tiny I can tell you which products I couldn’t live without. Even if you live in an apartment, a small home, or a large home these products are still a must have especially if you want to make life simpler!

Hi I'm Just Jess with Honest Honey. Here I write honest reviews on products I have tried and would personally recommend to friends and family. As an Amazon Associate I could earn from qualifying purchases.

Item Number 1:

Instant Pot Duo Crisp 11-in-1 Air Fryer and Electric Pressure Cooker

This is the one item I could not live without. What's not to love about the instapot?  I use this for everything from cooking frozen meats, cooking rice, crock potting, and even sanitizing bottles. Instapots have so many functions that it would be silly not to include this on the list.
The Instapot is the perfect kitchen appliance for tiny living. It has so many functions in one and hardly takes up any space! We have had ours for about three years now, and it’s still going strong. I cook most of our meals in this. It’s so nice to be able to cook meat from frozen, especially since I often forget to set out meat to thaw. Plus, one less thing cluttering up our tiny kitchen!

Item Number Two:

Galanz 0.9 Cu. Ft Air Fry Microwave Stainless Steel

This is no ordinary microwave. This is also a convection oven, an air fryer, and a microwave! This microwave is perfect for tiny living, rving, apartment renting, anyone really. This works especially well for us because we use this as our main oven and air fryer. I absolutely love this product! I’m all about multifunction products that take up less space and make life simpler!

Item number 3:

Keurig K-Mini Coffee Maker, Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Brewer, 6 to 12 oz. Brew Sizes, Studio Gray

For the Tiny Living folks who refuse to give up Coffee (my Husband), this one’s for you. Coffee is a must in our home. Especially with two little ones keeping us on our toes. And this one is perfect for tiny living!

It fits anywhere less than 5 inches wide. It can produce a single cup of coffee from 8 oz all the way up to 12 oz. And the neatest feature in my opinion is the cord can be tucked in the back for when you need to make more space on your kitchen counter tops! Look how cute it is, it was made for that Tiny Life!

Item number 4:

Mueller Ultra-Stick 500 Watt 9-Speed Immersion Multi-Purpose Hand Blender Heavy Duty Copper Motor Brushed 304 Stainless Steel With Whisk

This hand blender is perfect for tiny living! You can throw it in a drawer along with all its attachments when you don’t need to use it. Again, it is also multipurpose! It comes with a whisk and a milk frother attachment!

There you have it! All the products above are products that make tiny living, and living in general, a lot simpler! As more and more people lean towards living smaller and becoming more minimalistic, I hope this acts as a guide to lead the way for people that would like to live simpler and easier!

Until next time busy bees!
